Review: Spellbinder "[A] Suspenseful Novel Will Engage Readers"

Book review: The Bell, the Book, and the Spellbinder
When Fergie discovers a magical book that tells him how to make his wishes come true, he tries to resist the diabolical influence of the evil sorcerer who wrote it, but gradually he succumbs. Johnny and Professor Childermass, characters created by the late John Bellairs, discover the villain's plan to extend his own life by draining Fergie's youth. Despite the unpolished prose, the suspenseful novel will engage readers interested in tales of sorcery.
