Nick Buckley of the Battle Creek Enquirer reports on some of the ways that John Bellairs's hometown of Marshall will welcome in the film adaption of The House with a Clock in its Walls:
Marshall will host a four-day premiere event in September around the release of the film....

  1. Marshall residents - new and old - are gearing up for the Red Premier Opening of the film. If anyone is in the area, please drop by. My husband is a distant cousin to John and while they wish John was still with us to enjoy this moment, they are so happy that the his writings are about to be explored by many that hadn't heard of him before, as well as the enjoyment by those - like all of you - that are already fans. Please enjoy all that is to come!! K Dean-Monk

Glad to see Brad Strickland attending. Hope this leads to new novels in John’s series’.
