Here's another prompt from our What If archive –
You have to swap characters from one story with those in another. For example, due to the Pennsylvania setting of The Ghost in the Mirror (1993) being closer to Johnny Dixon's New England, Ghost becomes a Dixon adventure (with appropriate cast changes). The flip side is figuring out which Dixon adventure would work for Lewis Barnavelt and Rose Rita. Maybe the cereal company from The Mummy, the Will, and the Crypt (1983), since Kellogs and Post are in Michigan?
I touched on that angle a bit when I discussed Gildersleeve and cheese.
