  • Bellairs traveled by train to Jacksonville, Florida to visit Al Myers. Visits Longboat Key, Jacksonville Beach, and St. Augustine [1].

Autumn

  • Bellairs is in enrolled in classes at the University of Chicago for Autumn quarter [2].

November

  • 13 - The first performances of Bellairs playing the role of "Paedagogus" in "Electra".

Autumn/Winter

  • Fitschens mail a copy of "Saint Fidgeta" to the Thomas More Association in Chicago in hopes it would be considered for publication in The Critic.  Dan Herr, the publisher, responded "against his better judgment" they would print "Saint Fidgeta" [3].
