Spend your holiday season in Hoosac! eReads, the oldest independent digital publisher in the field bringing out-of-print books back in electronic formats, has released the first book in the Anthony Monday series.
Originally published in 1978, The Treasure of Alpheus Winterborn features young Anthony worrying about his parents and their long nights worrying about the lack of family finances. But, he does have Miss Eells, the librarian at the Hoosac Public Library, and he has an adventure waiting for him right around the corner.
By our count this is the first new edition of Treasure since Puffin’s 1997 paperback. The eReads edition is similar to the twelve-book Johnny Dixon series that eReads published last year, but with slightly different fonts and a grungy, textured paper design.
All in all, this looks good for fans of the four-book Anthony Monday series.
Believe all of what you read!
