An Interview With Simon Loxley

Lund Memorial Library

The Lund Memorial Library is a historical building located in Marshall, Michigan.

History

The building was constructed in 1913 as the original Marshall Public Library.

Spurred by the need for growth, in 1995 the library purchased a former grocery store at 124 West Green Street and spent the next few years renovating the current building. The new Marshall District Library opened in 1998. The original library building was bought by the American Museum of Magic in 1999 and later named for Marshall businessman and museum founder, Robert Lund. It houses additional exhibits and attractions and serves as storage for the main museum building.
