An Interview With Simon Loxley

Marshall Middle School

Marshall Middle School
is a school in the Marshall Public Schools District in Marshall, Michigan. It was built as the city's second high school. John Bellairs graduated from the school in 1955. It became the city's middle school in the 1970s.

History

Construction on this structure began in 1929 on the site of the city’s first high school (1870-1929). The building was dedicated July 14, 1930. When it was replaced by a new high school campus in 1971-2, this building became Marshall Middle School. In 1955, a vocational building was added on Green Street between Madison and Hamilton streets [1].

It is across the street from the former Masonic Temple.
