Something About Amazing Stories

Blogger Madripoor_rose posted the titles of fiction pieces from the July 1986 edition of Amazing Stories - in which Brad Strickland’s short piece, "The Winds Of Oberon," was printed - and asks:
I wonder what happened to some of these writers, rereading these stories. Why did some of them go on to write books, some exploring these worlds they'd already created, some writing new novels...some not? I wonder if there are novels in worlds I loved in short story form that never got past the slush pile at the publishing companies. I wonder how many other people out there subscribed to these magazines and still have copies in old boxes like I do?
