Top 10 Places to Visit

As we prepare for the tenth anniversary of Bellairsia, we’re using our slightly-worn Twitter feed to share some memorable moments and commentary in the form of Top Ten lists.

We don’t know about you but it’s about this time of the year that we start looking forward to summer, what with more hours of sunlight, school being out, and the chance to get out and see the world (or at least some different scenery two towns over or so). And should we ever come down with such a severe case of Wanderlust that we salivate at hop-scotching the globe then we might consider a Bellairs-inspired vacation.

This month we present an itinerary of the top ten places we’d like to visit. So pinch a passport, grab a towel, and set sail for these seven (plus three) wonders of the Bellairsian world.

Got a favorite place, too? Share your own itinerary with other fans at our forum.

Editor’s note: we formatted our blandly-overworked Twitter feed years later. The tweets are gone but here is the original list:
  • #10. Colon, Michigan
  • #9. White Mountains, New Hampshire
  • #8. Winona, Minnesota
  • #7. University of Göttingen (Germany)
  • #6. Oriental Institute (Chicago, IL)
  • #5. Istanbul, Turkey
  • #4. Haverhill, Massachusetts
  • #3. Salisbury Cathedral (Salisbury, UK)
  • #2. Marshall, Michigan
  • #1. Staunton Harold (Leicestershire, UK)
